Lead Capacity

Lead capacity is simply how many leads can Geek generate in a particular market at a particular time. Lead capacity is impacted by many factors: population, time of year, competition for leads, auction prices.

Why It Matters to You

Lead capacity becomes relevant when you are seeking to increase your lead count by either increasing your lead prices, adding zip codes/markets or raising your Budget Cap.

Given the fact that Lead Capacity is an always changing thing, we have to assess Lead Capacity at any given time to determine whether or not any given customer’s request to adjust their account can be accommodated.

What Happens if We Don’t Have Additional Lead Capacity?

If Geek believes there is insufficient lead capacity in a market, we will deny your request to increase lead price, expand your service area, add a market or increase your Budget Cap.

If we make more money by selling you more leads, why would we ever say no to your attempts to increase your lead volume? Because we don’t want to disappoint you! There is no point in increasing lead price, adding zip codes/new markets if in our judgment it won’t actually increase your lead count. It would be a waste of your time and ours to even attempt.

This works in your favor as well. If another customer requests a change to their account that we believe would negatively impact YOUR lead volume, we’ll deny their request.

A Warning About Reducing Lead Volume

Given all this, you may want to be thoughtful about any changes to your account that decrease your lead volume. Reducing lead price, service area, adding overly restrictive budget caps or pausing for 30+ days a year will obviously lead to a change in our Lead Capacity.

We may choose to offer this newly freed up Lead Capacity to another Geek customer, meaning that if you request to increase your lead volume (through price, service area or other adjustments) at a later date, Lead Capacity you previously had may not be available.

We understand that factors with your business may require you to make the call to adjust your lead volume and take that risk, we just want to be upfront here so that you aren’t surprised if that’s the case.
